The area is still beginning the debate about what they can rebuild.
Tne City of New Orleans is laying off personel. There is no rental lodging.
You gotta camp. Storm damage is not a first step.
Even the biggies get screwed. The Cabl Bar is full of stories about guys who went to fix damage in Florida last year and are still unpaid.
Good luck to you. Find a new technology to ride. Perhaps Home Theater or Broadband Wireless. As a generalization, cable will survive if it can get fiber optic line to homeowners for internet ahead of the phone companies. The world is full of satellite installers and the main players (DTV & DISH) are trying to lower the money as far as it will go down. Fine a new horse and ride it.
