I'm figuring the 50.00 per day per diem 7 days a week. 350.00.
That's all I will get paid for for the 1st 3 weeks. I forgot to mention 3 bucks a gallon for gas... Hmmm... That will knock it down to 40 per day. Instead of 350.00, now it's down to 280.00
I live in the New Orleans area and have a place to stay so that will help, but last year I did drop work in Fla. 75 a day per diem pay was out 2 weeks but then got paid every week. The per diem was paid cash daily. That was a little easier to swallow.
One good thing about New Orleans is that it is 80% aerial.
The drops are not that long , and alot of them are down.
There are no hotel rooms and the nearest state park is closed for repairs.
So if you come down, bring a tent to set up in the mall parking lot.
