In the mid 80's when they were a new company, I watched them roll into town with the classic promise of "a lot of installers" and then deliver 3 or 4 mostly untrained installers with beat up old trucks. I'm sure you're interested in who they are now, and as a company they have grown a lot and changed a lot since then. Usually you work as an employee with a company truck and have to wear uniforms (sometimes they still use independent contractors) which helps their image with the MSO's, but I know a lot of their people were always complaining about pay cuts and changes to their method of paying employees (some kind of point system last I heard), and many left. Never worked for them myself, but they were my competition in Michigan when I was a prime there several years ago.
