It's spring time in Alaska and the big yellow locators will be out soon digging up cable. If anyone can help us with a policy question would sure appreciate it. Our policy is to charge the offending back-hoe with temporary repairs to get service up and return for permanent repairs. Policy is one splice on new trunk/two on old. The problem we have is contrators refuse to believe we can't just keep splicing. Is there a standard policy someone can point me to...any feedback would be appreciated.
