My graqndfather fought in WWII. The "crooked" tobacco companies donated cigarettes to the Red Cross and they were to be given to the troops. Well, long sroty short, the Red Cross tried to sell those cigarettes to them. Want to help people? Give to the Salvation Army. Or better yet, find someone you can help personally in some way. That way, at least you know some paper pusher wont end up with the money that you sent to help people. I am not trying to p*** anyone off by saying that about the Red Cross because I know they have helped peolpe. I just am not real sure how well the disperse donations.
