It depends on the area you are working in...I would have to say, like anything else, it boils down to the Manager. I know of OCI in most areas that they do work for with Knology, and it is pretty damn lax compared to where I am at and with my background. I oversee the OCI organization in Pinellas, and it is also up to the MSO (me) when to backcharge and let someone go. I provide the documentation necessary to substantiate the claim, but I know that is not the case in a lot of areas that the Knology/OCI relationship exists.
They have a lot of plans in the future, and if I ever wanted to go back to contracting, I would be giving them a call........
