I believe it should not be the governments job to bail out everyone who decides to build or live in a place that is inevitably going to be hit by a hurricane, flood, lava flow etc. We are all human, so of course we want to, and do help each other. But, what ever happened to being responsible for ones self and not waiting for the government to hold your hand? I don't want the government telling me what to do, ever. Just keep the bad guys away and help maintain order and all that, that implies. Now in exchange for that I don't expect them to rescue me because I build a house 1 foot above sea level, and the sea rises, or on a mountain side prone to mud slides, etc, etc, etc,. You obviously should be in a country where the government will wipe your A$$.......... after you ask them if you can use the bathroom, of course!
