They raise the price of gas any time for any reason. It has nothing to do with whether they just bought more gas, or ordered more or anything else. As soon as they hear of any event that gives them an excuse to raise the prices, they do! I used to work at a gas station as my first job many years ago. They price their gas at the highest price they feel the market will bear!
