BCK pays 50/20 in our area. If you want to do work for them, be prepared for a lot of problems.
They don't qualify thier sales. In many instances, the customer doesn't know they owe a one hundred and fifty dollar activation fee. If they do know, they are led to beleive they can write a check for the work. The problem there is that about 80% of the time, the BCK "check-by-phone" system refuses the check and we end up wasting a trip.
They sell refurbished equipment. That means a LOT of service calls to swap out bad boxes. This is not a small problem for us, we waste a lot of time running back to installs because the boxes failed.
Making money with BCK is a constant struggle, but we manage to do it. Thier only saving grace is thier ability to generate a lot of work for installers, even after we disqualify half of it for no payment or disinterest, thier's still a route or two in the mess they send in every morning. If you're bringing on new installers and need bulk work to keep get them trained for good contracts, BCK is a useful tool.
