This brings me back to the good ole' days of installing primestar dishes.....I've done roof mounts, wall mounts, side mounts, corner mounts and pole mounts. Large dishes that graduated to smaller dishes before Direct TV took over. We had the same issues, but we learned what we could do and not do, but most importantly we had the right mounts to do the job right. All else fails, nothing is stronger than a deep seated, solid poured concrete pole mount. Even still, had many a time people ran into them with cars, lawn mowers or even neighbors putting duct tape over the LNB just so he can piss off his neighbor.
I miss doing satellite!
