Actually I like my Ridgid, altough I've only had it for 6 mo. I prefer it over my Dewalt 8v whick I burned out after 5 years of use. I got the 14.4v X2 version, and it definately has more tourqe than the dewalt. I have noticed that the batteries don't hold a charge as well. I usually go through both batteries every two days. I've tried hitachi, milwauke, and porter cable, and I think this is the most powerful out of the group
