Oh, and by the way. My average income as an installer doing Cable TV in 1989. $900.00 per week. Cost of gasoline 0.59 per gallon or so. Days worked per week 5 (mon - fri) with a 1/2 route on some saturdays. And no Sundays ever! What would that translate to today? Oh, and price of a New truck or van ....... maybe  from 6,000.00 on up to 14,000.00 for 4x4 3/4 ton. Seems cable installs just haven't kept pace, have they? Not even close! Also, never even heard of a charge back, back then.
