It's called "LAZINESS"! I've seen people splice term's like this in the past. System requires an input loop and the splicer was to lazy to move his bugnut back. So lets just try to cram in a loop, straight cable and a dogleg into that space. Come on, it takes two seconds to move a bug to get your 12" of straight cable and a 9-12" DL!!! Either that or it was a short guy working of hooks who can't double D-ring to reach out far enough!!!!
