That is a problem in Southern California. I do know of a company called SCC. I never heard the Ventures part though. I worked for a company called CCC and am working through a legal liar (attorney) still trying to get paid. I left after 3 months of lies. The guy I was working with said he was going to stick it out and find a company that would pay. Since then he told me he has worked for Fishel and SCC and hasn't gotten paid. He said that both companies refused to pay due to poor craftmanship, which I don't doubt, 90% of the people out there are not qualified splicers. However my friend is one of the best splicers in the country. He probably got put out on a job with a bunch of hacks and is now guilty through association. With all the lies and crap I went through I have no intention of ever going back no matter what I'm offered. Everybody out there lies. I've never seen anything like it. Good Luck!
