Pretty much every digital camera out there has software bundled with it for downloading pics. I suggest looking for a camera with a removable rechargable battery and expandable memory. You can eat through batteries fast if you like to look at your pics with the screen on the camera. Also don't get anything under 4 mega pixels. Anything under that is an outdated piece of crap. 4 mega pixels is pretty close to the same resolution as the point and click film cameras. Also ask yourself what you want to do with it ....snapshots at work (if so get a cheap one) or for taking half decent pics. then you might want to look at a higher end unit with a zoom lens and extra features like being able to record video and adjust shutter speed etc...
Just remember the more mega pixels the sharper the picture.
