not that my two cents is worth crap but here goes anyway. I have to agree w/ the lineman, I would add that I have been in both spots, once even at the same time,"an employee and a contractor at one time". I would say that you might want to explore other parts of the biz as there is little money in the install side these days. As for getting started, You cant swing a dead cat in this industry w/out hitting a contractor hireing. Of course getting paid is another story. Good luck.
