I don't know what area you are in, but you might try posting to find a good experienced linemen somewhat close to your area that would be willing to come along as the experience and split the job amount with him. You provide tools, equipment and manpower, he provides invaluable experience. If he is a "good" lineman its not like he is going to sit around and watch all day, he will be right in there with you. I do mostly splicing and mapping but when I have done some construction and worked with guys that have been at it forever, they are good guys! They want to get paid for their work and experience just like everyone else, but most of the time they are ready and willing to help where they can. I know you will lose a little money on this one but once they know you can do it, it opens up all the more work! Good luck.
