I am sure your particular MSO contact would rather you ask a question pertaining to your job then to go ahead and do something that you're not really sure of.
I dont know if you are close (business friendship or friends within the MSO) but what you really need to do is find the head of OSP and ask him.
In my opinion, I cant really see this happening without some type of service interuption. On top of that, like someone else said, are you really going to get a full analysis? But what do I know, heh, I have been out of OSP for years now. lol
But to wrap it up, go ahead and ask questions. You will only look professional and look like you care about what your doing. (which I am sure you do)
