Good for the Local MSO for stepping up to the plate. Denver Comcast executives came into our shop on Friday and talked with the crew. They opened up a job fair specifically for GFC employees and offered positions to everyone on the staff interested in going in-house.
Personally I thought that was pretty damn nice of them and also showed that just because the Corporate operates in a way, the Locals still DO understand what is going on in the trenches. "Kudos" to Sr. Mgmt in Denver Comcast.
As it has been said, You reap what you sow. The thieves and liars at the Sr levels of GFC will get theirs someday, even if it is on their Last day, they will have to answer.
So while I am unemployed at the moment, I can look at my family and feel right with myself that I did what I could to help my employees recover and get placed.
What can the execs at GFC say?
