Only one thing I could have stated more clearly.....
Companies need to stop agreeing with the MSO's that $34.00 for a new connect, including the first outlet, is acceptable. Furthermore, with each turn of the calendar, we need a 10% increase, not decrease.
Companies may have slightly different scripts to managing this business, and with the exception of the GFC corporate bubble, the players were somewhat knowledgable. In their defense, GFC's main problem (aside from bringing down industry standard pricing) -- the bigger you are, the harder you fall.
