And dont forget how those squirrels just love to chew on anything they can get their teeth into up there. That is why the hardline is lashed UNDER the strand...and if you're a good installer (i.e. knows what they are doing), you will also zip tie the drop cable very neatly from the span clamp to the tap, drip loop, etc...but don't let me catch you zip tying a whole mid span. Then you're asking for trouble.
