By code you have to run Plenum anywhere you have air that is being breathed ie: schools, cafeteria's above dropped ceilings in offices and so on. You can use Non-Plenum in your PVC pulls, man holes (vaults) but as soon as it hits breathable air,,,
it's easyer to ask for forgiveness than permission
