WOW! Wasn't THAT a ride!!!
GFC came in to Denver and took over the bulk of the contract work.
Had good men working for them. Then with no remorse....BAM!... any one NOT a production employee was out.
They terminated 2 experienced Senior tech's, and a guy who was on lite duty/work comp.
new hires were kept on, barely just good enough enough to call "Cable Babies", NO OFFENSE guys! :)
Obviously not hard to read the writing on the wall.
Funny thing is...we have ALL been there done that. I have not even been phased by this. BUT I do believe this is the last rodeo for me. I will probably hang up the tool bags, meters, and gaff's.
As someone in here once said..." I'm going thru life with the end goal of sliding into the grave screaming WOW!!! What a ride!!!"
OH! If any one has some tips about the Work Comp guy I bet he would appreciate it.
