If you are planning on working with ribbon fiber a ribbon splitter is a must. they are pricey though, about a grand I think. If you are just picking a single or couple fibers out of a ribbon then you can try getting one of those dental floss tooth pick things... toothpick on one side with a U shaped end on it with dental floss crossing the top of the U, you just pick out the fiber that you want and run it through the the dental floss end then run it down the ribbon.... as far as working with ribbon though spend the money to get the right eqt.
If you ment a ribbon stripper I think that should be supplied with the ribbon fuser along with the cleaver. Don't forget to get a ribbonizer too, it comes in handy when everything is ribbon untill you find some loose tube that is there for some reason.
Then once you have spent all the money on eqt. prepare to give a prime 30 to 40 percent for the work you have done...
