That sounds like piss poor management to me, my friend. If you and the others would contact a higher up, maybe that could be corrected.
I know some techs up here will call in every week cos' they made their quota for the week. Then they don't get scheduled work and they come in complaining about it. That doesn't sound like what's happening down there. You guys have a crappy manager and he/she is gonna lose all their techs this way.
