line tech contractor (VoIP ingress migration)

Hello everybody,

I have been cable installer (cable/hsi/digital phone) for around 5 years at contractor basis for At&T and Comcast.

Currently there are few open projects in our area for VoIP ingress (ingress migration), it is kind of line maintenance work. According to my understanding the main thing is to have SDA5000/w pathtrack, measure/tune the tabs and amplifiers.

I don't have particular experience with this kind of work, but I am interested to join there. Anybody with more experience here? I would appreciate a short advice - link to the corresponding manual, what exactly is the job, what kind of money (as average) can be made. In most cases they claim will pay per foot - how this one is calclucated?

You can post it here or e-mail it to me at (-REDACTED-)

Thanks in advance!
