my real dad hasn't paid a dime since I was about 6or 7. no problem, my stepdad stepped up to the plate and took care of 5 kids from his second marriage, and kept up his support for his 4 from his first marriage... and never bitched about any of it. we wanted for lots, but never needed for anything. and he was a chief in the navy, always working a second job to keep us all going, and the one thing he taught me was to take care of your responsibilities, no matter what!!!!!
