Nicely put Mr. SL Jones But I have to add That more people lost than just the investors which the judge did not idenitfy. A lot of very hard working contractors and their subs were never mentioned. Will it get any better with Time Warner and Comcast ?
They are beating the prices down so far that when they or another big MSO is caught ( Such as charter was with their big guns getting kickbacks from money rich contractors ) the poor small independent will have worked twice as hard to loose twice the money. It is time for Government or whoever to step in and look at all activities in each MSO and get a grip on it before we all
are on their welfare line. The Rigas family did not get what they deserved. They should have been made to make restitution to all the contractors first and investors second. In real life situations investors have money to lose working people don't.
