Gainmaker amplifier trainer needed to travel the US for Scientific Atlanta

Title: GainMaker Trainer

Location: We are based at 4291 Communications Dr, Norcross, GA, but the work will be on road 80% of time. Work out of home is OK.

This will begin as a contract position with the possbility of regular employment after six months.

Reports to: Greg Moriarty Field Operations Supervisor

Skills Required: 1) CATV HFC system experience.
2) RF plant install, troubleshooting and maintenance experience
3) HFC plant balance and alignment experience
3) 5+ years CATV experience
4) Operation of basic CATV sweep and operating sweep equipment
5) Basic computer skills and ability to use Microsoft and equiv software products (eg. office2000)

Skills Desired: Experience with SA amplfiers

Functional Tasks: 1) present GainMaker training in a quazi classroom evironment. 2) Go to field to do hands on training.

Travel Required: Travel out on Monday morning, return home Friday afternoon. 80% of year.

Education Required: High school + post high school technical education (preferably in CATV field). Experience can be considered as a substitute by candidate.

Visibility: They will be face to face with the customer. They will need excellent verbal and written skills and will need to be able to present themselves as a CATV professional.
