Pathtrack is a nice tool but I would much rather use my spectrum function to clean up a node, when I am tracking noise down one leg of a node I could care less what the rest of the node looks like. As a matter of fact the only reason I go to the node is to check the alignment with the headend so if I have an elavated noise floor I can check for improper set up of the amps.
