Sheet metal fabrication are you serious, I went to formal school for 3 solid years and became a journeyman tin knocker, ranked 5th in the nation in 1989 for sheet metal fab. and the best I could find back then in 1989 was $14.00 hr. Took on CATV and within a year was making doulbe that amount on piece rate.
New guy if you are seriously looking to get into the indusrty, do your homework on companies. There are some real good companies to work for and the will take care of you if you are willing to put fourth a good effort, and stick through thick and thin with them.
