Re: Voip

Has anybody had any consistent success in the VOIP suppression anywhere? I have yet to find someone who is thrilled with this area. I am currently doing some VOIP in Richmond. We are certifying plenty of small nodes (1 - 2 miles) but only get paid for what we touch. These nodes are so small that e can work them from the headend without havingto pull pads.

I understand that California and Detroit are paying out nice footages, but there are new quirks in the deal that prohibit success. Things like: Comcast limiting the number of filters used per node, being responsible for replacing the drop and even going into the house to fix the source of the problem.

I think when jobs are advertised on this website, it may be evidence of a high turnover on a particular job. My experience has been that the same teams stay together from job to job and when something is seriously wrong with the job, people leave and hook up somewhere else through their personal network.

Anyway, any consistent success out there?
