Four former Charter executives were sentenced in U.S. District Court in St. Louis for their alleged involvement in an accounting scandal at the cable operator. Reports said former chief financial officer Kent Kalkwarf received 14 months in federal prison, two years probation and a $200,000 fine. Former chief operating officer David Barford got a year and a day in prison, two years probation and a $200,000 fine. Two former senior vice presidents, David McCall and James Smith III, each got two years probation, with McCall fined $200,000 and Smith fined $175,000, stated wire reports.
