Type of Cable for DBS Installs

Need a bit of advice on what type of cable is good for a DBS install (Dish or DirecTV, haven't decided which), is RG6 the way to go? My house is already wired up with RG59. Also, in a standard install, do the installers put in 150 feet of RG6 per receiver or 150 feet total?
