You are 100% wrong. Section 7 of the National Labor Relations Act of 1934 is very explicit: "Employees shall have the right to self-organization, to form, join, or assist labor organizations, to bargain collectively through representation of their own choosing, and to engage in other concerted activities for the purpose of collective bargaining..."

And remember, just because you want to form or join a union, it doesn't mean you can just hide behind the union shield. You need to be a good employee, show up on time, do your job to the best of your ability and keep your nose clean. that way it makes it tough for them to legally fire you.
