I am new to this forum, Please bear with me.
I have recently taken over a small cable company in southern california. Things are going pretty smooth but one problem needs to be rectified. The mapping of the system is a real mess. The whole system is probably mapped out but in a hundred different maps rolled up and stuffed in a box. Some of them worn to a frazzle from constant use. Theres no cataloging or labels on them.
So I am going to put priority on making a master map(s) of some sort. I would like to do this on the computer. I spent several hours searching the net for some software for doing this but had no luck.
Does anyone know where I might find software for cable tv plant mapping, or better yet, some experience in this situation. Any help would be greatly appriciated.
