I've seen painted tools before, a lot of companies have a paint code for thier company, take White Mountain Cable for instance, they painted all thier tools green, now there isn't a contractor in New England that does'nt have a few A frames on his truck that don't have green on them, or chain hoists, beckets, 90 blocks, 750's, even lashers, I think White Mountain, indirectly, tooled up most of the subs that are out there today. I heard that Smiley, (one of the former owners) put so much paint on a new "J", that the crew couldn't get it to spin! I like orange, I used to get the florencent diddle sticks when I was sweeping out west, you drop a black one and it's gone forever.
