Re: Dish installs question


I've done alot of superdish work in the past, as far as I know there is no standard according to Dish network. Putting the switch on the dish does look crappy I agree, although it does save alot of cable in one or two reciever jobs. My opinion is if you want to take the extra time to run the cable go for it and hide the switch or put it next to the ground. Alot of people use a ground block instead of grounding the switch, this makes no sence to me if you can put the switch at the grounding location, seems like wasted material and a redundant ground. Well thats my two cents worth hope it helps.(snipper)(usa)
