Cut the boy some slack.
I watched one unroll on the CATV side years ago. Hi Balcon. The plant manager had all the subcontractors assemble for an ass kicking because one of "our" number had been arrested and charged by the company with illegal hookups.. The guy the cops hauled off left his tools in the office trailer and they were still there after his arrest.
I am told he pled not guilty because his tools had been in the trailer at the time of the ALLEDGED offense. Who knew?
During all that time guys were working over this abandoned tool belt in the store room. Who's day was it to watch the tools in the corner?
Some places I have worked, and with some groups, your stuff stays your stuff. I don't work at the other places. Telling the difference in places has always been costly.
