Just wait till you guys start dealing with power backfeeds with a DVR box, the power burns out the hard drive in the box requiring the use of power stops on both the input and the output. Voltage also affects the return and lower channels first, the longer it hits the splitter the more channels it will affect as it damages the splitter.
