DFW: You bring good objective analysis to these observations. One additional feature - value that both current generations SA E8300's and their predecessor have is the ability to transfer their DVR recordings over to VHS /DVD format. I alpha tested this about two years ago. Either way, IMHO the SA box has an edge superior to Moto's. Besides, MOTO is still having software issues with their HD/DVR2.
