I'll tell ya, gal - that Marine baby boy of mine is going great guns. He has volunteered for a few missions to Baghdad (luckily I didn't find out until after he returned or my worry level could have been higher!) and Al Najid where he is now in line for a combat ribbon because they were fired on by insurgents and had to fire back.....I am dealing with this in my own special way, one day at a time and am coming to grips with it. I know he'll come home safe, he's got too much of his mother in him not to! My daughter is up for Staff Sgt. this summer at age 25!
