Re: OK..so gas is high...let's take a poll!

I have found that Hotels with free breakfast and Internet use are a great deal on the road. Gas is now $3.00+ a gallon in parts of Southern California. Everyone in this country pretty much relies on fuel to get them to thier jobs. Some folks here have had to take on a second job to pay for gas, which means they need still more gas to get to the second jod. This effects every working person, not just us cable folks. I am very certain that somewhere on the internet there is a similar site to this where guys from some other Industry are feeling the same. For sure it hurts the Trucking Industry, but they charge a fuel surcharge......someone else here mentioned that. I dont think we could ever get away with that, nor could most other working people. Food for thought.
