My husbands company just got them. He can turn the feature off, but it shows where and when it was turned off. If there are any errors in pay, they use the GPS as a default. The guys all had to sign a release too saying the company could change their pay according to the GPS. A lot of good guys left the company. You are right about your old Radio...those things sure can handle the abuse of a Line-Dawg dropping them from the sky, and they still work!
