we always bid by the foot. 10 bucks a foot aint too bad, but I could be way out of line. You want a set-up charge one side. if you have to did down to depth.
We always did C-con with a v- Plow and got a buck a foot for 18", 4 bucks to trench 4' and 10 bucks a foot to go under asphalt. Depends on how low you go, and how big of hole your trying to bore. 1" c-con, 2" con.
Some guys are really good. Its really hard not make money in underground, but I guess it depends on where you live. Is this a private development or municipal?

My Father in Law does a ton of jack-n-bore. A hydraulic ram that pushes a sleeve ahead of itself for pipe. One time he did an 18" sleeve 8' under a road for 40' and it cost the customer 35,000 bucks. That's in sandy Florida.
