Having some issues with alarm systems failing after VoIP installation.
After having double checked a couple of installs to make sure our side of the street was clean, I called one of the security providers.
Brinks Security claims their systems have to be retro-fitted to adapt to VoIP in order for the call system to function properly.
I'm hearing of some issues with ADT as well.
Anyone got the scoop on this? Are the security companies feeding me a line or what?
