Re: Hard turns on ground wire


We all know that electricity will follow the path of least resistance. I would think that if lightning were to actually ground through your #4 wire, or what is it - 12ga(confused) for installs, that if it were enough to blow out at that bend, then it would blow out the wire regardless, wouldn't it?

Not challenging it, and I know what the nec says, just looking at the "real world" situation?
you need to have enough wisdom to keep from making the wrong decisions but enough courage to make the right ones
