No. It's nothing like that at all. It's a DirecTV system. It's no big secret. I'm just pointing out that there are a lot of wrinkles to get into. You don't have to be unhappy with what you're doing. A lot of the people who post on this board are independent contractors, and a lot of them are getting screwed (for lack of a better term). Taking the step to become an independent is the hardest part. Once you've done the hardest part, branch out into something else. If you can do installs, you can do CLI, etc. If you can be an independent satellite installer, you can be a satellite dealer.
