As a contractor, it is unethical. HMMMMM, leme guess this company works with Dish Network, am I right? did a buzzer go off? This malparactice is illegal;though you would have to pee upwind to fight. It is NOT your fault if the xtmr decides to not continue services. You are an installer- If your install itself was wrong then yes you should be charged back-but this does not seem to be the case. I would fight the hell out of this so it does not be a common philosophy-contact the state in which you work-tell them of this. Let THEM do the homework. Is it in your contract? better read closely to the letter.
DN is famous for backcharging the seller within a certain time-ergo the backcharge to you.
Take those $*#&$@# to your public, let everyone know. You are an installer- not the consumer. What I mean is that YOU should NOT be charged schittt.
Good luck.
