Every company I have subcontracted with has somehow tried to streach the spec. For some money you go along with accommodations and beside the good comes with the bad, right?
As I drive to my first job I often pass other guys comming here to hang DTV dishes. You can spot the HSP guys from MASTEC by the wooden ladders on the cars. I have showed them the ADC map rack. Many have driven from furthur than I am going to do work down the street from my house.
Because the large retailers will NOT talk to individual installers these new and better installation companies have arrisen to round up subs. Many are well intentioned but have no management experience. Some are just crooks.
I have been lucky but have taken a couple thousand dollars worth of mismanagement hits.
